Philosophy Of One, Two And Three

If  one is  one,  two is two  and  three  is  three,
Can  you  tell,  what is  that  people  cannot  see?

If  one  is  you,  two is me  and  we  are three,
Can you find, what is that between you and me?

If one is none, two is unconcerned and three is free,
Can  you  say, what  is  that  which  we  shouldn’t  be?

If one says me, two says we and three doesn’t agree,
Can you tell, what separates one,  two and the three?

If one forgets, two regrets and three is on the knee,
Can you tell,  what  is not letting them  all  feel  free?

If  one  is  you,  two  is  yours  and  three  is  ‘He’,
Can  you  imagine,   where   would   ‘I’   really   be?

Almost all languages we have or the vast known majority at least ( expert linguists or lexicologists can provide input ) deal with the structure of first person, second person and third person. In my opinion, as a language is the expression for how we perceive the world, this structure really gives us the insight into human psychology.

Almost every religion agrees on the principle of getting rid of ego ( the sense of ‘I’ or the strong sense of first person ) in order to attain any spiritual progress. The Bible tells us about loving the neighbor and that is only possible when the person rises above the differences separating one from another. In order to rise above those differences, one first needs to understand it.

Geeta says it right,

बहूनां जन्मनामन्ते ज्ञानवान्मां प्रपधते
वासुदेवः सर्वमिति स महात्मा सुदुर्लभः || (7.19)

After many many births, when someone knowledgeable realizes the truth, he comes to me. But the enlightened person who really understands that everything is Krishna – the same ‘Bhram’ – and nothing else, is very rare indeed.

So at the end, everything is an interesting interplay between one, two and three! Someone who knows oneself, automatically understands the rest.

If one can answer all those questions laid out in this poem, one can definitely say that the one is really experiencing the oneness with the one and only existential truth! 😉

Enjoy 🙂

The Origin

If everything can be created from basic elements,
Then from where comes, the spirit and sentiments!

Logic is really limited by our perceptual embodiments,
Awareness is the only sublime, rest is just physical sediments,

Material things can never exist without its own impediments,
Be enlightened to feel universe beyond sensual experiments!

True knowledge stands for tearing down religious regiments,
Godliness doesn’t stay inside the stagnant sectorial segments.

What is it that without understanding it, even if you understand everything else, you understand nothing? Or What is it that by just understanding it, you understand everything, even if you don’t understand anything else?

There are things beyond the grasp of our senses which can just detect very tiny part of vast universe. That’s why rising above the physical senses is the first step of Yog. Because how can you connect and feel the unlimited by being limited! A sense of the world devised by our perceptions is very limited. Then our limited ability of logic puts additional restraints on our efforts of understanding the things which are beyond logic. Beyond logic in terms of, beyond your pay-grade if you will! Our definition of ‘existence’ is very rudimentary and just considers the physical aspects of being. True ability of awareness is something most human beings can’t contemplate. That’s the reason that enlightenment eludes them.

Religions even add more blurriness to the already blinded and miserable beings. Subscribing to any religion is like putting a thick faulty monochrome filter in front of the eyes of a person already suffering with limitedly illumined understanding ability. That is the reason that so-called religions or imaginations of God, doesn’t help alleviate the misery of the masses.

Perhaps that’s why Shree Krishna says,

“…. यततामपि सिद्धानां कश्चिन्मां वेत्ति तत्वतः||” (Geeta 7.3)

Sometimes someone from millions of men makes an effort to become a true Yogi. And even from (millions of) those who have become Yogi, hardly a single yogi is able to know/understand about my true nature of existence.

Today is the day to meditate and contemplate on that Krishna-tatva.
