2020 – A New Dawn

Does  a  change  in calendar  really  make  a  new dawn?
Does it really mean that the deeds of past really gone?!

When  you  really want to start it afresh like  a  newborn,
Only to find that the lines of limitations can’t be redrawn,

You    are    destined   to    be    tired   and    torn,
When   life’s   true   path  has  never  been  shown,

When  you open the eyes  tomorrow  hoping for a new dawn,
Does  it really help to know that the future is still unknown?

All moments are happy for the one sitting on Enlightened throne,
Being  indifferent  to  what  will  stay  and   what  will  be   gone.

A calendar is human invention.  Start of a new day, a new week, a new month, a new year etc are just an illusion but necessary nonetheless to keep tired masses on track with renewed hope.

Time is associated with temporary things. It is important to understand the essence of time in order to escape the tyranny fool’s errands.

If you know the truth, then let’s enjoy the same circus taking place in ‘different time’ and either with same or different participants. 🙂

Predictions For 2020

As it always does, a new dawn will come and go,
But you will find yourself reaping what you sow,

The Fool who has failed to know the self in the past,
In 2020 will achieve nothing, running just to and fro,

Men haunted by endless desires acting as arrows,
Shall get hunted again, with unbridled mind as its bow,

After waking up to the same old problems to grapple with,
Tomorrow, most will again greet their rotten self saying hello,

Really can’t wait to hear the Swan Song from that crow?
No matter how you wish for, scourge of the society won’t go,

If you ask who will be the next basketball pro?
Please check with Kardashians, they shall know!

Doodle of Diversity will cast its dreadful shadow,
No colorful palette, even if you see lots of rainbow,

You better be prepared for what you don’t know,
A slick James Bond will be played by a black bro,

Senseless celebrities, teaming with shallow and psycho,
Will still keep ruining minds, featuring the farcical show,

We shall witness many unconscious decoupling,
Unlike something done by dear Miss Potts Paltrow,

Globe will get filled with more garbage and the junk we throw,
Like a dark shadow growing under the teenager’s greater glow,

Developed countries will be more delusional and deranged,
I wonder where would those already in shithole will go?!

Finally, please don’t shoot the messenger if you don’t know,
Just telling you the future of foolish world as I foresaw.
😉

When Krishna is showing His enormous never seen before ‘Vishwaroop’ during the discourse of Geeta, bewildered by its ferocity and unfathomable vastness which is encompassing all directions and pervading all dimensions, filling all and everything with its blinding glow, unable to know where it starts and where it ends, or even what could be the center of such divine display which is beyond the grasp of universe, Arjun asks the Lord, who you really are.

Krishna’s reply starts with कालोस्मि लोकक्षयकृत्प्रवृद्धो ( I am the Mahakaal, engaged in destruction of all universe .. )

Well, that reminds me of the way humanity is currently racing towards to peak of stupidity and bottom of all known unknown values. How ironic that, more intelligence is working against the wellbeing of people. Increase in collective IQ is evidently destructive for poor souls. As the saying goes, Life is a dream for the one who is enlightened, game for the fool, comedy for the rich and tragedy for the poor.

A Sthitpragnya is beyond the vagaries of time, are you?

Anyway, Happy New Year to whomever it applies… 🙂

Lilly Lives By The “Likes”

Lilly Lives By The “Likes”

I’ve got this new dress and here is the pic,
Please make my mood with your single click,

Not the real but that heart shape button I seek,
looking but not liking?!!,  man you’re such a dick,

Nudity  is  just  a bait,  so  please  don’t be a  freak,
It’s just for likes, otherwise I’m a sanskari shy chick,

Guys with bikes and cars?! Dude! it’s such an old trick,
Six pack and a gym pic!  Go ahead boy, brick by brick,

I used to follow this cute guy’s profile named Nick,
Jesus,  in reality he  came  out as a predator prick,

Now  these million  followers  making  me so sick,
Why this damn thing is not giving me a real kick?!

………

( Now Lilly is sad, but of course not mad 😉 )

Earlier while counting every ‘like’ I used to roll,
Now  I’m reading and cursing,  every f’kin troll,

So  before  I  delete this profile, one final poll,
Do  you  like  me mature  or a mere Barbie doll?

………

So please, friends and followers, help dear Lilly,
We all know, she’s so lovely, just a little bit silly
😉

Last weekend there was a news article in TOI that a girl torn her newly bought expensive dress because she was enraged that it didn’t fetch enough ‘likes’ on the Instagram from her friends when she posted her pics with the dress.  Now, some will blame social media, some will preach the parent’s inability to instill virtues, some will blame the bullying, few will point towards the psychological shortcomings of helpless girl etc. But what can you do about the inherent characteristics of the nature! Natural obsession of men for power and women’s madness about beauty will never go away. Some things aren’t being called the ‘basic instincts’ for nothing.  So what’s the cure or conclusion? One might ask. Well, nothing really, I would say.  We all know the need for recognition aka ego etc, is never going to cease to exist.

Those who can see through the transient nature of the things and have found the permanent source of joy, will just be Sthitpragnya and smile, looking at all these ‘Lila of Likes’.

As Geeta says, God likes the one who is – ‘Tulyanindastutimauni‘ – ( translation – One who is really unperturbed by any commendation or condemnation and remains silent )

But well, we all know how difficult it is, don’t we?!

To Date Or Not To Date! ;)

To the tattoos, I say no,
Attitude is ok but ego, no no,
If servitude of stupidity is the way to go,
I rather decline to attend your show.

To drinker and smoker, I say no,
Yeh fuck social and occasional, all I know,
If losing awareness is the way to go,
I rather decline to inhale your vicious glow.

To weed and drugs, strictly NO,
You might feel high but in fact you’r so freaking low,
If addiction is the only address you know,
I rather not be that sucker, picking your needles to throw.

To lesbian and bisexual, I say no,
All experimental games, haha, no no,
If the unnatural way you love to go,
I rather be happy being straight and solo.

To the feminist, I may say hello!,
But to your rubbish equality talks, hell no,
If mean men encounters, is only theme to go,
I rather let you live in mean memories of juvenile Joe.

To date or not to date, ohh no,
Always a dilemma, never a clear yes or no,
If a person with known flaw, will you give it a go?
I rather say, everyone may not be psycho, so let’s go.

Well, It’s just a straight man, talking straight. 😉

I’m Different Everyday

I’m not what I was yesterday,
Tomorrow I won’t be like today,
I change between even morning to midday,
I’m finding myself different every day.

I don’t do what I was doing yesterday,
Tomorrow I’ll do something different than today,
Doing it differently every moment on the same day,
I’m being more aware each and every day.

I don’t know if I call it a fun-day,
Tomorrow will be more joyful, I always say,
Feeling so happy, more and more merry-day,
I don’t know, what strange sadness will say!

Should I carry the past, clinging to yesterday?
Who knows about tomorrow, people say,
If I have lived it right today, shall I get one more day?!
Grateful for every moment of each day, I always dream and pray.

Yes, my affection is not what it was yesterday,
Tomorrow I will love You more than today,
Changing every moment, listening to what You say,
I’m finding You more lovable with each passing day.

To change means to be alive. When something stops changing, it starts decaying.  When a person starts referring to the past, it’s sign that he has exhausted his wit and wisdom to enjoy the present and ability to graciously look for the future. At some stage in life, most people stop changing and then they always keep babbling about good ol’ days and keep brining past into the conversation.  Well, that’s the sign, the fellow is old now. From now on he’ll just exist, and won’t be as vibrant as he used to be.

On the contrary, person with vigor will never have a moment to waste ruminating the past, because he enjoys present thoroughly and there is not a fraction of moment left to escape anywhere!

Krishna, left Gokul for Mathura and never returned. Left Mathura for Dwaraka never looked back. And after kurukshetra, of course, there was nothing to go back to. He could have visited his pals at Gokul for sweet reunion but he didn’t. Because he was always enjoying the happening.

Remember, every moment wasted in thinking about the past, reduces the possibility of joyful time in present.
