Lost Sense Of Humor

In such dogmatic times, people have lost sense of humor,
Like  staunch feminists  think of testicles as brain tumor,

When  a  society  loses  the  sense  of  genuine  smile,
It becomes a herd of fools, easy to ravage  and  rile,

Nobody  here  understands  even simple  vernacular guile,
No wonder that people’s heads are like buckets full of bile,

If you utter fat,  ugly,  slow  or  blind, people will mind,
These seriousness junkies are utterly out of their mind,

When someone makes fun, don’t just look angrily behind,
Smart person shall use trick of language, to reply in kind,

Everybody’s drowning into the putrid pool of politically correct,
Hope  Jesus  of  joke,  fun  and  laughter  will  soon  resurrect.

Well, when so many comic situations ( as well as foolish people ) are all around you and still you are not able to laugh freely, then the joke is on you 😉

Here most adults are utterly insane but even kids, the one segment of the population who can laugh genuinely have also become some sort of activists these days. Bedsides college days are not fun but a time to pick some ‘faltu funda’ and become a fundamentalist. Woke culture and political correctness has corroded the core of delightful existence.

Every word being uttered is going to agitate some group of people for sure.  People in power don’t like to be laughed at, religious fundamentalists are always against any joy a human being can find from the beginning anyway, people worshippers don’t like their dummy deities being ridiculed and other people in love of some sort of cause, thinks that it’s their moral duty to act for God in order to protect the world order.

Why so serious ?! 😉

I know why and few other smart people already know. But I’m not going to tell you because it will require me to tell you the truth about your mental condition and it will make you angry. Also it will be considered as ‘insensitive’ for me to incite you in this way when I already know that you lack the required ability to process the good thoughts. 😉

Lilly Lives By The “Likes”

Lilly Lives By The “Likes”

I’ve got this new dress and here is the pic,
Please make my mood with your single click,

Not the real but that heart shape button I seek,
looking but not liking?!!,  man you’re such a dick,

Nudity  is  just  a bait,  so  please  don’t be a  freak,
It’s just for likes, otherwise I’m a sanskari shy chick,

Guys with bikes and cars?! Dude! it’s such an old trick,
Six pack and a gym pic!  Go ahead boy, brick by brick,

I used to follow this cute guy’s profile named Nick,
Jesus,  in reality he  came  out as a predator prick,

Now  these million  followers  making  me so sick,
Why this damn thing is not giving me a real kick?!

………

( Now Lilly is sad, but of course not mad 😉 )

Earlier while counting every ‘like’ I used to roll,
Now  I’m reading and cursing,  every f’kin troll,

So  before  I  delete this profile, one final poll,
Do  you  like  me mature  or a mere Barbie doll?

………

So please, friends and followers, help dear Lilly,
We all know, she’s so lovely, just a little bit silly
😉

Last weekend there was a news article in TOI that a girl torn her newly bought expensive dress because she was enraged that it didn’t fetch enough ‘likes’ on the Instagram from her friends when she posted her pics with the dress.  Now, some will blame social media, some will preach the parent’s inability to instill virtues, some will blame the bullying, few will point towards the psychological shortcomings of helpless girl etc. But what can you do about the inherent characteristics of the nature! Natural obsession of men for power and women’s madness about beauty will never go away. Some things aren’t being called the ‘basic instincts’ for nothing.  So what’s the cure or conclusion? One might ask. Well, nothing really, I would say.  We all know the need for recognition aka ego etc, is never going to cease to exist.

Those who can see through the transient nature of the things and have found the permanent source of joy, will just be Sthitpragnya and smile, looking at all these ‘Lila of Likes’.

As Geeta says, God likes the one who is – ‘Tulyanindastutimauni‘ – ( translation – One who is really unperturbed by any commendation or condemnation and remains silent )

But well, we all know how difficult it is, don’t we?!
