I don’t like the poetry
which doesn’t rhyme,
Writing words without rhythm
is a literary crime,
Not every word coming
out of your heart is sublime,
But one needs to understand
that poetry needs time,
Adding random punctuation
and new lines is just slime,
Difference between a babbler
and a poet is not just design,
Of course with any nonsense a writer puts,
most are just fine,
But a true poet has a connection
with something divine.
Only after tons of garbage is created by armatures and fools, a true genius is appreciated. Before I start blaming others, I must accept that most of the words coming out of my keyboard are so substandard that I wouldn’t call it poetry. I can’t be the judge or dictator for what people should like or dislike, thus the above poem ( or whatever it is called ) is just my personal view about things being written under the name of poetry. 😉
