Flowers

Basking in the rising glory of the sun,
Flowers neither know subtraction nor the sum,
For that it is always full,
Flowers know how to rule,
Lily never desires to be a lotus,
See, it’s happy even with the cactus,
Ever wonder looking at the flower bed,
How come such fragile thing never sad!
It’s our perception that they try to teach,
How to live or how to reach,
But what do they care,
Whether in desert or along the Nile,
It’s just a seeds success celebrated by smile!
Fragrance or color, really doesn’t matter,
Secret is, for a flower it’s always now,
And nothing saved for later,
Basking in the glory of shining sun,
A tiny flower is so full of all the fun!

One of the celebrated ancient Greek playwright Aeschylus has said, “He who learns must suffer. And even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget, falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God.” This thinking reverberates among many of his tragic plays. Also, interestingly such thinking is a prominent theme in many philosophical ideas coming from western philosophers. On eastern landscape, Buddhist philosophy is also mainly based on the painfulness of existence and how to escape from it. Only Vedic philosophy doesn’t subscribe to such thinking. Instead Vedic philosophy encourages to embrace and explore the ecstasy of existential exuberance. Not in a rudimentary way but through the higher grounds of spirituality.

Somehow it has been trickled into the conscience that knowing more creates the stress and pain, and ignorance is bliss. This is a half backed truth in my opinion because it shows that the peddler of such philosophy has never been through the process of gaining wholesome wisdom. Because once you know the truth, your existence becomes blissful and sheer joy. One who says, knowing more is creating pain, has yet to learn a lot!

Some argue that nature is beautiful and birds and animals look always happy because of their lack of thinking ability. To that, I would say, it shows the person’s own lack of ability to understand the truth. Because if an animal can be happy without much brain than a person with ability to think and understand should be millions of times much happier with the unique ability to enjoy many of the universe’ pleasures. Nature has given you the exceptional ability but if you don’t know how to use it then it’s you yourself to blame for all the misery.

Flowers boom, birds sing, rivers flow… all these because it’s their nature. Nobody gives a damn about your existence and nothing in this universe exists to entertain you. Nature doesn’t even here to teach you anything like those motivational speakers tell you. It just exists. So if you want to feel the joy, learn to exist in harmony! Like flowers?! Well, you can do even better, if you know you are human! 😉

Lost Sense Of Humor

In such dogmatic times, people have lost sense of humor,
Like  staunch feminists  think of testicles as brain tumor,

When  a  society  loses  the  sense  of  genuine  smile,
It becomes a herd of fools, easy to ravage  and  rile,

Nobody  here  understands  even simple  vernacular guile,
No wonder that people’s heads are like buckets full of bile,

If you utter fat,  ugly,  slow  or  blind, people will mind,
These seriousness junkies are utterly out of their mind,

When someone makes fun, don’t just look angrily behind,
Smart person shall use trick of language, to reply in kind,

Everybody’s drowning into the putrid pool of politically correct,
Hope  Jesus  of  joke,  fun  and  laughter  will  soon  resurrect.

Well, when so many comic situations ( as well as foolish people ) are all around you and still you are not able to laugh freely, then the joke is on you 😉

Here most adults are utterly insane but even kids, the one segment of the population who can laugh genuinely have also become some sort of activists these days. Bedsides college days are not fun but a time to pick some ‘faltu funda’ and become a fundamentalist. Woke culture and political correctness has corroded the core of delightful existence.

Every word being uttered is going to agitate some group of people for sure.  People in power don’t like to be laughed at, religious fundamentalists are always against any joy a human being can find from the beginning anyway, people worshippers don’t like their dummy deities being ridiculed and other people in love of some sort of cause, thinks that it’s their moral duty to act for God in order to protect the world order.

Why so serious ?! 😉

I know why and few other smart people already know. But I’m not going to tell you because it will require me to tell you the truth about your mental condition and it will make you angry. Also it will be considered as ‘insensitive’ for me to incite you in this way when I already know that you lack the required ability to process the good thoughts. 😉

Marriage Age

Why do politicians want to fix the marriage age?,
Just a trick to divert people from rape and rage,

What about deciding old politicians retirement age?,
And the qualification before climbing election stage!

I dare, you won’t really be able to turn that page,
All politicians are cowards and liar, said the sage,

Politics is all about keeping people wrongly engage,
While sucking nation’s wealth behind fancy hedge,

As wage is not any politician’s wealth’s true gauge,
Don’t judge this fine looking book from title page.

Lo and behold! The great magician is back in town with a new trick.

Dear__, while you are fixing the age for Indian girl’s marriage age, we have few suggestions  seeking your immediate attention and thoughtful consideration.

Of course, you know it all but while working more than 18 hrs a day for the nation’s benefit, it is sometimes obvious to forget some not so important and petty pending tasks. But no worry, we are always here to help ( it’s another thing that you never ask smart people around and always pander the obsequious sycophants ). But again no worry.

Now, if His Excellency considers following age related things then it will be a great service to our already great but destined to be the greatest nation 😉

1. Age of politician’s retirement

No no no, we are not saying that politicians’ become ineffective with age. Rather the problem is that they become too active as they age, demanding larger share from all the projects 😉 You know what I mean right 😉

2. Qualification of politicians

Now of course this is not related to age but with maturity. We all agree that there must be some minimum qualification of a person seeking public office ( Ok, not we all, but at least smart people of this nation do ). I know that we do differ a little here from the standpoint of what exactly ‘qualification’ means. What political parties call the qualifications ( goon, fraudster, murderer, convicts, a dumb person acting as rubber stamp when needed, cast, creed, religion, empty orator etc ) are not what we really mean. But our humble request is to consider education ( haha gotcha, real degree from a real university with real verification credentials ) and proven experience.

3. Qualification of Voters

Temporarily, until majority of the nation’s population becomes educated and thoughtful, this might go against the notions of democracy equals to majority, because in this country majority of people are dumb and must be discouraged from voting. A person who doesn’t know where to pee, is picking the politicians. Political parties like it ( not their pee but vote, so that they can pee back on them ) but as His Excellency understands that this is not helping the nation moving forward.

Now if you really try to implement all or any of the three things mentioned above then only you will be able to remove the label given to you by the opposition. Otherwise, the label sounds legitimate and of course, with age, the label will be hard to remove 😉

Philosophy Of One, Two And Three

If  one is  one,  two is two  and  three  is  three,
Can  you  tell,  what is  that  people  cannot  see?

If  one  is  you,  two is me  and  we  are three,
Can you find, what is that between you and me?

If one is none, two is unconcerned and three is free,
Can  you  say, what  is  that  which  we  shouldn’t  be?

If one says me, two says we and three doesn’t agree,
Can you tell, what separates one,  two and the three?

If one forgets, two regrets and three is on the knee,
Can you tell,  what  is not letting them  all  feel  free?

If  one  is  you,  two  is  yours  and  three  is  ‘He’,
Can  you  imagine,   where   would   ‘I’   really   be?

Almost all languages we have or the vast known majority at least ( expert linguists or lexicologists can provide input ) deal with the structure of first person, second person and third person. In my opinion, as a language is the expression for how we perceive the world, this structure really gives us the insight into human psychology.

Almost every religion agrees on the principle of getting rid of ego ( the sense of ‘I’ or the strong sense of first person ) in order to attain any spiritual progress. The Bible tells us about loving the neighbor and that is only possible when the person rises above the differences separating one from another. In order to rise above those differences, one first needs to understand it.

Geeta says it right,

बहूनां जन्मनामन्ते ज्ञानवान्मां प्रपधते
वासुदेवः सर्वमिति स महात्मा सुदुर्लभः || (7.19)

After many many births, when someone knowledgeable realizes the truth, he comes to me. But the enlightened person who really understands that everything is Krishna – the same ‘Bhram’ – and nothing else, is very rare indeed.

So at the end, everything is an interesting interplay between one, two and three! Someone who knows oneself, automatically understands the rest.

If one can answer all those questions laid out in this poem, one can definitely say that the one is really experiencing the oneness with the one and only existential truth! 😉

Enjoy 🙂

Fell in love

He fell in love and soon succumbed to death,
Busy pleasing her, couldn’t catch his breath,

He always did what was asked for and some more,
He even did those chores he never touched before,

As per the strict instructions he ate, drank and played,
Friends begged for, but one more min, he never stayed,

Even  after  giving it all,  from  all that he ever hath,
The poor little fellow, still couldn’t escape her wrath,

Though lovers utter their own fairytale shibboleth,
Ultimately desires end like the tragedy of Macbeth,

Proven, that love sucked both his life and wealth,
I still wonder, does love-struck ever do any math!

I agree that right now there is more possibility for someone to catch coronavirus than contracting any other disease through air-born droplets, but there’s never been a time that love is not in the air! 😉

As experts say that only eyes are enough, a well worn mask may not protect you from getting love struck after all. So I am just trying to depict a cautionary tale (which many of you are never going to heed anyway). But believe me, I have seen good soldiers who could have become fine decorated generals one day, disappear from the battlefield suddenly, only to be found domesticated in rotten civilian life! Just like that, even before they get a chance to ask WTF, a beautiful bullet pierces their heart and leaves them docile and disabled for the rest of their life. That’s called FUBAR dear friends 😉
