Sanskrit Subhasit
व्यसनेन च मूर्खाणां, निद्रयाकलहेन् वा ||
Literary meaning of above Sanskrit Subhasit is that the intellectuals enjoy their time by being entertained with poetry, while fools waste the time in addiction, laziness and in petty quarrels.
But the meaning of it is more deeper than what the words just convey. Here poetry means to indicate the higher intellectual engagements which are constructive and wholesome. As poetry tries to say more things in few words, it indicates towards finding more meaning from what’s not visible easily or more than something which senses can perceive. And when someone becomes knowledgeable, existence becomes joyful and thus the word ‘Vinoden‘.
For fools, there is always some kind of addiction to dumb the senses. Addiction doesn’t just mean with the substances or smoking or alcohol but any activity or ingredient or thought which keeps the person in darkness. Besides laziness towards awareness always keeps person foolish and a dumb person can’t understand meaning of anything, thus the only fate he is destined for is friction, pain and misery.
This website is just a resting place for my words taking all sort of different forms. Here I am just going to put my poems, random thoughts, essays, lyrics, short stories, novel(may be!) etc in Gujarati, English, Hindi or Sanskrit.
Webpages here will be sprinkled with my thoughts on the subjects related to spirituality, philosophy, psychology, metaphysics, science, engineering, nature, love, art, literature, life, existence and beyond.
And finally my following verse will say it all about the tone of the content,
અહીં ફક્ત હાસ્ય પીરસાયું છે, વ્યંગ સમજીને વિનોદથી રહેવું,
જ્ઞાની ગણ તો આનંદિત થશે, મુર્ખાઓને પડશે થોડું સહેવું.
Wit & wisdom with bit of sarcasm, ready to serve,
Enjoy with understanding, it’s the joy you deserve,
Wise will adorn their faces with smiley curve,
Fools might feel like it’s pinching their nerve.
Besides one more thing I must clearly mention is that I really do not claim to teach or preach anyone anything. Neither do I desire to change anyone nor do I despise the stupidity of the people. I am well beyond petty quarrels of petty creatures to give it any thought 🙂
About Me?
Well I think if you know who you are, then eventually you will know that everything is just the different manifestation of the same all pervading and prevailing eternal Brahm. In that case the difference between you, me and others cease to exist.

Geeta – 7.19
( The enlightened soul who really knows that everything is Krishna – the same ‘Bhram’ – and nothing else, is very rare indeed )
So I guess now you should know who I am and if not, keep looking for who you are and you will find the answer 🙂
When everything is governed by fate,
Including all things good and not so great,
Entangled in the circle of deeds as destiny dictate,
Enjoying with enlightened mind and without regret!
🙂
